George Young

Broadcast Consultant

With his offbeat sense of humor, ear for radio and incredible voice talent, George is poised and ready to communicate in our broadcast department. With a BA from Blackburn College, George specializes in client relations, program direction and on-air direction. He has extensive experience in sales, marketing and radio. He is a meet announcer for the University of Missouri Swim Team and Columbia Swim Club. George has 10 years of experience as a business owner, a perspective he will use to assist Visionworks clients. In the community, he is actively involved with the Newman Center on the Mizzou campus, as well as Boy Scout Troop 121.

Why George Loves What He Does: "It gives me an opportunity to use my voice talent and sense of humor to get across an effective message. I enjoy hearing and helping create that effective message with a recognized group of professionals. When one works in that environment it isn't really work - it's fun! Oh, and they pay you for it."
